I debated giving this pub one or two stars. I went with two, erring on the side of generosity. My husband acquired free drink tickets to try this new-ish pub. It was snowing heavily the night we ventured out to use the free drink tickets with a Friend of ours. I was surprised at how many cars were parked in the lot. I had high hopes that if these many ventured out on a night like that - this place must be rocking. My first inclination that this wasn't the kind of pub I was expecting was upon entering there was a bouncer. I have never been to a pub (Ireland or stateside) that required a bouncer. My second inclination that this was not a traditional pub was the very loud 90's rock music. Again, not what you usually find in an Irish pub. The music was so loud one was unable to have a conversation across a table. Third, the attire of the waitstaff was more akin to that of a naughty school girl convention then a pub. Our particular waitstaff was friendly, prompt, and an all around great waitstaff. I have no complaints there. Call me feminist, but I was offended as a women by the attire of the female waitstaff. We ordered the reuben quesadilla. They were good. The meat was tender, and serving size split-able for three people. The food was fast. Needless to say this is not a family friendly eatery. Overall, compared to other pubs in the area, Brocach, County Clare, O'Donoghue's, etc...this was a let down. My husband and I will not be back.

well definitely not an authentic Irish pub. I ordered the corned beef sandwich. it was alright. much better with the thousand island dressing. it's sort of missing something. not horrible. but not awesome. um it's 2.29 for a diet coke. for 25 cents more I could have had any domestic beer I wanted. that felt a little like highway robbery. it's been 25 min and I'm still trying to get a refill. it's packed in here. tons of people crammed at the bar. definitely a good place to grab a drink. catch some live music for the burbs. I splurged an got dessert. lava cake. incredibly disappointing. no lava to be had. cake was cold. not even Luke warm. I had two bites and didn't touch the rest of it. it was served with a huge wad of ice cream and chocolate sauce. even though it was supposed to be Carmel. whatever. okay I hate to be judgemental. but my server was a complete and total airhead. ugh. and I second the comment about its like being in a britney spears baby one more time video. think hooters meets Fridays with an Irish spin. I live in the hc so I'll check this place out again I'm sure. but no rush.

I went alone to get food to go. The bar tender was nice helped make suggestions because it was my first time there. She bagged my food perfectly with all the sauces I asked for. She made good suggestions. Food was overall good. Kinda average waffle fries didn't taste like potato but turkey club was great! The wanton corn beef was ok I was expecting more cream cheese. But overall good service and I will come back.

If you think Michael Jackson had an identity disorder... Finn's just doesn't know what it is, nor what it wants to be. It calls itself an "Irish Pub & Grill". Well... let's start with the 'Pub' part: An Irish pub is about gathering. It's about making a group of people comfortable. It is about strengthening old relationships and encouraging new ones. People are very important to our friends across the pond, and pubs have been a cornerstone of their social engagement for centuries. I admit, there are lots of ways that can be accomplished. Finn McGuire's may not "look" like an Irish Pub (other than a couple coats of green paint). But where it really fails is the disconnect I feel whenever I've walked in. To me, it actually feels like it discourages the social interaction that should be the foundation of any Irish Pub. And to add insult to injury, the weekends are booked with lack-luster rock-and-roll cover bands that play too loud for any meaningful conversion to occur anywhere in the building. I don't care how many Irish beers you have on tap. An Irish Pub could be successful serving nothing but Budweiser. That's right, I said it... and Finn McGuire's doesn't get it. Now... what about the grill part? Firstly, the confusion begins with having twice as many gourmet burgers as they have "Specialties". I mean, really... the menu has Ahi Tuna next to a sampler platter of deep-fried goodness. So tell me Finn, what should I want to order from the kitchen? There is nothing on your menu that says, "THIS is what you want to eat because THIS is what we are best at cooking." Now this may be a bit more subjective. But to me, comfort needs to trump all else in an Irish Pub. It's not such a big deal that Finn's only has a handful of the "traditional" Irish dishes on their extensive menu. But I feel it really falls short on its offerings of comfort food. And don't get me wrong, the food isn't bad. But they don't serve anything that I cannot get at 2 dozen other restaurants within a 2 minute driving radius. They've got a couple soups, Fish & Chips, Mac & Cheese, Shepherd's Pie, and Corned Beef & Cabbage. But that's about it for what I would consider "comfort food". This is Milwaukee... where's the beer cheese soup? Where are the sausage offerings? How about some bread bowls? I'm just sayin'... So that's the round-up for Finn's. I can't say it's a place I would avoid at all costs. It's just that it's not an Irish Pub. Well then, smarty-pants. What is it? My answer: It is just one more offering in an over-saturated market of mediocre bar & grills.

We went there for lunch. I had their Mac n Cheese. It was good but the "garlic bread" that came with it was stale and tasteless. How do u goof up bread? I asked for butter in hope that I could resurrect it but even Wisconson's creamy butter was not enough to help. I ended up taking it home to my dog. He liked it but that's not saying much. My daughter had their fish and said it was good. Not the best but certainly good enough to order in future. Service was prompt & friendly. I think this place is overpriced for the quality of their food.

Once again a new restaurant for this location, how long will this one last? My first experience at Finn McGuires was today for lunch. First impressions: I thought I was in a bad Brittney Spears video. The waitresses wear short plaid pleated skirts, white blouses, neck ties and knee socks. I can see where they are trying to go with this, trying to make them look Irish by putting them in plaid skirts but it reminded me more of the Catholic school girl look, seemed kind of cheesy BUT the guys love it and sure, if I could pull it off I would ;) Still, I was waiting to hear "Oh baby baby" in the background. Menu is brief, apps and sandwiches only. I do however love the menu look. It is folded crooked and uneven as if some drunk was in back folding them and was way off - pretty cool. Decor is nice and comfortable. They have a sports bar in the main area and in the back they have a room that is more Irish home feeling. I think it would be great if they would merge the look, feel and music together vs listening to the oldies channel while trying to take in the Irish atmosphere. Had a corned beef sandwich. I can honestly saw I have never ordered one before in a restaurant so I was being adventurous. The sandwich was piled high but was lacking in the flavor department. Homemade chips were good. Had the spinach & artichoke dip too as an app. Love this stuff and it was pretty good here. A little on the salty side but yummy none the less. I'm glad I checked it out. Perhaps will stop in again to try something different but didn't experience anything in the WOW factor to make me run back soon but I would recommend you to check it out for yourself.

This place doesn't even deserve a star but the food was ok so that is where they earn their one star, other than that this place sucks. The service was AWFUL! there was nobody in there how does it take 30 min to get your bill, sorry to interrupt you flirting with another server but we would like to leave. EVERYTHING took forever to get; the server was never around we had to keep getting up to get anything we wanted. DON'T even consider this place, go somewhere else.

Well, I am truly disappointed in the decline in the quality of service and food at this restaurant. My husband and I have frequented this place about once a month since it opened. We have noticed the decline in the quality of food (way it was cooked) the last several times we were there, but last night we ended up agreeing that we would not patronize this restaurant again. First of all, we requested to be seated on the patio because it was a nice night. Although there were only two other tables that were occupied at the time, the hostess seated us at the table directly between the two other occupied tables. Both of these tables were filled with women who were loudly chatting away. When we asked to move to another table, our waitress stated that because it was a "light" night, these were the only tables open in her station and she was the only person covering the patio that night. Oh well! We waited forever for our drinks, which arrived with my husband's salad, just minutes before our dinners were placed on our table. My husband ordered one of the specials - Steak & Shrimp. The NY strip steak was about 1/4 in. thick and could barely qualify as a steak. It was comprised of fat, grizzle and rubbery tendons that made it difficult, if not impossible to eat. The shrimp was just o.k., The green beans looked "sick" and must have been from a can. He would not even touch them. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich on a cibatta roll. The last time I had this, the roll was toasted and stacked with shredded bbq pork. Last night, the roll was not toasted and the only thing "stacked" on the roll was the overcooked and cold shredded onion rings. Also cold were the waffle fries, which I ending up leaving on my plate with the onion rings, We must not have been the only table with slow service because the ladies next to us told the waitress not to leave when she dropped of their bill. I think they were afraid they would never see her again. We did the same when we left as well. This is really a shame that this restaurant has gone down hill so much. As we passed two other restaurants right down the street (That's Amore and Open Flame, their parking lots were completing full with overflow parking on side streets. At Finn McQuires, the parking lot was pretty empty as we had gotten a parking spot right next to the front door. Management needs to address these issues. This is not the same restaurant that it was when it first opened. Please bring back your quality control person and make sure your staff knows how to work in the food industry. It will be a long while before we waste our money at this place again. Sorry, we really liked you when you first opened!

Heather L. is really good at applying lip gloss every five minutes...she keeps it handy in a glass right next to the cash register. You'd think that would be a sign of efficiency in someone, but apparently the skill is lost on her when she is bartending. Slow service, no follow up, empty glasses:( And we were sitting right at the bar, smack dab in front of her. Food is average pub food...nothing to boast about and certainly not worth the bad service we had. Sorry Finn. Get some new bartenders.

Big con - Their menu says happy hour is from 3 - 6 pm which includes half priced appetizers. We ordered an appetizer at 5:15 pm but it was at full price on our bill. When we told the waitress it should be half off because the menu said happy hour was until 6 pm she said it was for drinks only. Half priced appetizers were only until 5 pm. Nowhere on the menu did it say that, just happy hour from 3 - 6 pm. She told us there was a big sign out front that said half priced appetizers were only until 5 pm. BUT THE MENU SAYS UNTIL 6 PM AND WE POINTED THAT OUT TO HER!!! She didn't offer to correct it, get us a manager, nothing. It's not like our appetizer was expensive - it was $5, but we wouldn't have ordered it at all if we thought it was going to be full price. FIX YOUR MENUS FINN MCGUIRE'S!!!!!!!

We stopped here for lunch on a way too cold June 1st in Milwaukee (God I need to move to Vegas!). I'll start by agreeing with most of the other reviews and point out that Finn's is not really an Irish Pub, but our food and service was pretty good. Was so cold (it was only like 50 outside) that I started with a Nutty Irishman. The combination of Bailey's, Frangelico, Coffee and Whipped Cream really warmed me up. It was so good, I finished my meal with a second one! My friend ordered a Diet Coke and had like three free refills. I ordered The Wisconsin Burger, which was a huge burger with Caramelized Onions, Mushrooms, Peppercorn Ranch Sauce, Cheddar and Swiss Cheese, served on a Soft Kaiser Bun. I had my Burger with Great Homemade Potato Chips. My friend ordered the 1 lb Corned Beef Sandwich with Waffle Fries. It must've been good because he ate the whole thing! They are wheelchair accessible, but be aware that there is some uneven pavement and an awkward drop at the threshold of the entrance. This might make it difficult for some wheelchair users. However, the staff is very friendly and willing to help. Finn McGuire's may not be the most authentic Irish Pub, but it seems like a nice friendly place that serves good solid food and drinks. I really want to come back and try it for dinner and/or drinks.

I always get their turkey avocado wraps. I'm so afraid to try something new because the first thing I tried was so good! People are so very nice and the owner does a fantastic job.

Did you try the sliders? I went downtown (won't name the restaurant) and paid $$$ for Kobe beef sliders. They didn't compare to the sliders as Finn's. I also love the 2 bars. Fun place to hang out.

My husband and I recently went for lunch at Finn McGuire's. The menu has pretty average Pub Items. There were a few specials and my husband ordered the Fish Fry and I ordered the Crab Salad sandwich. My crab salad was imitation crab, very chewy & marinated in vinegar. The fish fry had very thick breading and tasteless fish. In all fairness, when I complained about the crab salad, the manager came over and removed the salad from the bill and offered to send us home with another item. The service was average at best. With so many great Irish restaurants in the area, I don't see us returning.

To begin, let me say I would go to Finn McGuire's again for their food. We stopped in a few days ago (on a Sunday afternoon) for dinner, and mine was fantastic! My husband's was good, except the coleslaw had some funny aftertaste. I had one of their specials, the shepherd's pie with a salad, and loved every bite. The salad was very fresh and crisp. The shepherd's pie was hearty! That being said, I think the management missed the mark on the ambiance of the place. My first impression upon walking in was, "Good lord! What are they wearing?!" The hostess and servers are made to wear tiny plaid skirts as uniforms! The skirts are green, so I think they're supposed to be like an Irish kilt, but looked more naughty-Catholic-school-girl. There Our server was very nice, but a little slow. We weren't in a rush, so it wasn't a problem until it was time to get home for a nap and it took a little while to get our card run. The prices were relatively good - two meals, a soda and a beer for a little under $30. Side note: I don't want to sound like I go to dinner to watch television, but there were three TVs in my line of sight, and they were all showing the golf channel... Were that many people requesting to watch the LPGA tour? Really?

We have gone here several times on friday night for their fish fry. This is currently my favorite fish fry that is still in operation. The price is reasonable and the amount of food you get is very good. My wife gets the baked fish and our friend and my self get the fried. You have the choice of potato pancakes which are very good here. And the cole slaw is very good, not sour like some other places. It is noisy, but you should expect this level of noise from a good sized pub.

Very busy on a Friday night, the parking lot was packed. Much to our surprise we were seated immediately. It was very loud tho which made it quite difficult to have a conversation. We came for the fish fry. It was good but very bready. Good beer and the service wasn't bad.

This place is absolutely the worst Irish Pub I have been too. Everytime I go in there there is a different bar tender that has no clue what is going on. I was in there after work today to watch the US World Cup game. The sign advertises happy hour until 6pm. I finished my beer around 545 and the bar tender is busy talking to her friend for a good 10 minutes while the owner sits in the corner flirting with other waitresses. The bar tender comes over at 556 finally after Ignoring me for 10 minutes and tells me the price of beer went up even though it's not 6pm. I show her my phone and she goes sorry I don't know what time it is and still takes my extra dollar. Avoid this place!

I have now been here twice. The first time was on a whim to watch a football game with my girlfriend. First impressions, it is big. 2 bars is nice. No, it isn't a real Irish pub like County Clare. No it isn't the worst fake Irish bar I've been to. Appetizers were half off during the game so I ordered Reuben rolls and my girlfriend decided to try their Reuben soup. The Reuben rolls were passable. Her soup, not very good at all. Drinks were fairly priced. I had a few pints of Guinness at $3 per pint and a couple of bourbon old fashioneds which were shockingly made correctly. I mean muddled and all. The girlfriend had strawberry margaritas which were also good. No complaints really at all with service or anything. The second time I went here was for a friends birthday. We ate dinner. I tried the mac and cheese which was ok. The rest of the party ate burgers. There were no complaints for. The drinks were kind of weak. Still, it wasn't really bad and the crowd was ok. No super loud rock music either. I can't say this is a go to place for me, but I will likely pop in occasionally if I want a pint since it is closer to home.

I don't write many reviews, but this place deserves an "avoid at all costs" warning. I can take loud anytime, but I can't stand poor service, which is what we received. The waitress was a young ditz who tried to impress us with her "quickness" which basically meant rattling off the specials no one could understand, tossing our soup crackers in front of us as we watched them slide off the table, and placing the soup in front of one person and expecting them to pass it down. For a table of 6 people she stood at one end and asked for our choices (mind you the place is very loud and one of the people at our table was an 80 year old grandma). She couldn't be bothered to walk around the table to take the order. Fast forward to forgetting to bring 2 of the drinks and completely missing one of the appetizers so we had to tell her to take it off the bill. Everyone at our table just commented how awful she was. Unfortunately I was with good tippers who still left her 20%. Ugh. Had it been up to me, she would have gotten zero %, plus a stop to the manager on the way out. Needless to say, 6 people will not be going back. Stay away.

For an Irish pub, there isn't much Irish on the menu. I had the Irish club. The corned beef is tasteless and had a strange texture. It seemed like most people were in there for the bar, which was busy.

What makes this an Irish Pub? Is it the sign that tells me that it is? Maybe it's the green that is seen in the decor? Oh wait... they probably serve Guinness!! That's gotta be it. Something just doesn't seem right. It's a pet peeve of mine. Then again I'm Irish. When I did drink it wasn't green beer. It was Smithwicks. So what we have here is a faux Irish Pub/Sports bar blend? It seems like a couple of different things that were just sort of merged together. It's like when you see the real hot girl who is either Italian, Spanish or some sort of South American. It really doesn't matter though because she is way hot. This establishment on the other hand is not. Located off HWY 100 in Hales Corners this restaurant takes the place of some other place that I have already forgotten about. Hales Corners has this cloud hanging over it in terms of dining. There are no real options worth seeking out and what is available is typically done better elsewhere. This makes venturing to Hales Corners merely a waste of gas. It's too bad because it's a nice place it just needs some inspiration and some creative minds to do something different. If you happen to be an up and coming chef this may be a place to start off your own restaurant. As long as you do something unique you have no competition. That translates here. If i was to tell you a little about this Irish Pub and had you guess the menu you'd probably get it right. It's standard Irish Pub stuff. People are excited about the Reuben but most of us know there are better places to go. Again if you don't want to venture out of Hales Corners this is evidently your option. Last outing I ordered 1/2 lb. Finn's Inferno Burger (Prime Beef Burger, grilled Jalapeno Peppers, Pepper Jack cheese, Spicy Mayo, grilled Red and Green Peppers, Sautéed Onions, served on a large Kaiser Bun). It didn't hit me as hot in the slightest. I'm really getting tired by seeing "Inferno" and then getting something incredibly mild. Even the rest of the flavors with spicy mayo, peppers/onions and Jack Cheese somehow came up bland. You may think that they mixed up my order. I could see the items. The fries were mainly filler. The waitresses in Kilts hits me as gimmicky. I like a girl in a skirt, don't get me wrong but it comes across as unnecessary here. Just like hooters relies on the shirts and shorts to mask the mediocre food I feel the same is done here. Really this is average. When i say "Standard Pub Fare" i mean it. My advice to people looking for something in the spirit of Irish Pub Fare to check out the County Clair Inn, Trinity or Brocach. Don't feel the need to be confined to your area. Life is too short for sub par experiences. My advice to the owner(s) is to reevaluate your menu. Do something unique and different. Reuben Rolls can be bought at Sam's Club and yours very well may be. Give me a reason to say "Hey Finn McGuires has the best [insert item] around". When we talk about Reubens everyone knows McBobs. Strive to be known more then a larger bar with girls in kilts. That's what separates good places from the rest of the pack. Finally the service is iffy. I felt like my waitress was hungover (it was a Sunday after all) and have no real reason to go back. Should something change I'd consider it. Other then that I will pass.

I stand by my original rating of this business. One of the managers reached out to me to address the poor review - and I will say that I was equally displeased by what they wrote to me. First I will say this - almost from the moment I walked in I was already thinking the place was not somewhere that I wanted to go (as my wife noted the bouncer by the door, and I noted before with the overly loud music). It also smelled like people were smoking inside the establishment - though I am sure it was the room off to the side that was closed to the rest. Still, it smelled of smoke. So no matter what, this place was already marked low in my book. What happened next, and how they responded to my issues with the establishment? I was contacted by the business manager (*EDIT - this review was removed by the owner, so no longer relevant.* who, curiously, also happens to also have a 5 star review of Finn McGuire's...) How did he address our complaints? In his own words: "I know you were upset that we wouldn't accept anymore drink tickets from your table." I'm sorry, what was that? My complaint was that they wouldn't take our free drink ticket? Not at all true. The only thing that would have kept me there a moment longer was to use our LAST drink ticket. It was not somewhere I would spend money to stay. By the way , did you ask your server if she was tipped well, or stiffed? Because if we were just there to "freeload" on your promotional tickets, we would have not tipped OR gotten an appetizer so we could sample some food. If my concern would have been with not accepting a second drink ticket for ONE individual, I would have said that before. What else did he have to say: "We handed out those tickets as a promotion for local businesses, we were hoping to draw in business from them, Our intention was not to give people a chance to come to our pub and drink free all evening." I work at one of the places of business that you decided to bring those tickets to. And yes, it did bring me there... once. And yes, I did leave with one ticket left. And NO, I will not be back to even use that one ticket. As a matter of fact, I am not even about to give the free drink to anyone else because sending them there would be as if I was telling them this place was a place I would recommend... which I do not. So next time someone writes a poor review, don't assume they are doing so because they were unable to use a free drink ticket... maybe it really is because of the experience they had. As I said before, the server was nice - and if I were to give the business a better rating, it would only have been for her. As it is, consider the one star as the gift because she was so good.

I was so excited when this place first opened up, I had visions of great authentic Irish food. I think I was too whipped up to realize that it is just another bastardization of Irish food or Ambiance. There are too many "Irish bars" like this in America do we really need another fake? This is not a quiet place at all, it is loud too loud to have a decent conversation in . I have been here about 5 times now. I ate once, and it was mediocre at best. standard corned beef sandwich and fries. The one thing that always irritates me here is that the bartenders are slow in serving me every time I am here. They are either chatting with a hot chick (I know its Milwaukee there are a few), or with there buddies. I have even had one eating his meal while tending bar. The last time I was there I waited for what seemed like 15 minutes at an almost empty bar while the bartender was busy changing the channels looking for some sporting event. With 16 big screen T.V's , the music blaring and even live bands at times, this place is annoying. Kiss the blarney stone GOODBYE!

Ok do I decided to update since my initial review because I have gone back on a Saturday night (as opposed to being there on a Wednesday) and had a different type of experience. I lowered my rating by one star but still gave it 3 because it's a different type of place for those in the 'burbs with more limited bar and dining options. As someone else noted: if you are looking for a somewhat authentic Irish Pub experience this place isn't for you. The music is loud, the bar is standing room only and some of the people that were streaming in the door looked like they should be on Water St, not in Hales Corners. Maybe its because I am only 26 so none of this was really bothersome to me but it was not what I expected, even on a Saturday night, from a "pub" in the suburbs. I actually found some of the crowd comical because they would look so ridiculous at a real pub. But the staff is very nice, both bartenders and waitstaff. I think the bouncer is more for show since I never actually saw him do anything expect play with his phone and we were sitting near him and the door the entire night.

We arrived 30 min prior to closing and were greeted by a guy (turns out he's the owner)who made a point of asking if we were here for a drink or a QUICK sandwich, which confused us since the board right next to him showed entree's for the special....basically it was his way of letting us know they were getting ready to close, without just coming out and saying it. It always annoys me when businesses drop that big hint to make it clear that their leaving on time is more important than my business and they want me to hurry. I'd b more than fine w him simply saying "just to let u know, we will b closing in about 30 min but please order what you'd like and enjoy your meal." The waitress, Rachel, was great. Very friendly and didn't rush us or the other customers around us. She represented the place better than the owner. I got the pub burger. It was good, I'd eat it again except I probably won't be back. The only reason I gave them any stars was because the waitress did great, the initial greeting from the owner was worth zero stars

I stopped here last night and had an awesome Irish pub burger. It was basically a burger with a Reuben on top of it minus the sour kraut (corned beef, Swiss, thousand island). The place was overhauled with a remodel and a dining room that used to be on the left side when you walked in is now a huge bar. There's two huge bars in there now and one of them is more sports-themed but both have tons of huge TVs to watch. The new more "Irish" bar is really nice and yes, the waitresses are very nice to look at too in their little kilts. The burger I had was incredible and so were the homemade chips that came with it. Overall the menu isn't very "Irish" except for the few items that have corned beef on them or in them. The old Brisco County this replaced used to have a nice game room but they removed it as part of the remodel which is a little disappointing for me but I guess you don't see it at too many Irish pubs. I know we live in a time where any place that serves Guinness beer and paints the walls green can be considered an "Irish pub" but I think this is a welcome change and a great place to have in that area and I hope it thrives.

I'm a fan of this place. It's kinda loud though. The food is always served hot and the service is good too. They have a good Reuben sandwich, Friday fish is decent. I like their pickles!!! They also have two bars with good bartenders and beer selections not bad either.

Stopped in here on a Thursday afternoon with a couple buddies for burgers and beers...my burger was excellent (inferno) and my friend insisted on have a mooing rare burger which the bartender hesitantly complied..I share her concern for e coli..she was friendly and informative about the goings on in the area although she obviously wasn't involved with the party scene she was very polite, accommodating and professional. The irish beer selection was my favorite..smithwicks is my all time favorite burger companion..and the tender even offered a sample to my friend as we discussed them. Great move A+ I think her name was Kylia anyways excellent service..great inferno burger decent atmosphere in an out of the way location...seek it out don't pass it by

Have been here a couple times already since the place has opened. Had the Irish pub burger the first time, fantastic. Corned beef club the second time, eh.. But it's a great place for some burgers and sandwiches, for sure. Also the App, rueben rolls, are so amazing. I'll be going back for sure!

Disclaimer: This review is based on a reasonably priced, clean, fun, Irish themed sports bar that serves above average bar food. If you are looking for an "Authentic" Irish pub experience, go somewhere else, chances are this place isn't for you. Atmosphere: Newly remodeled with two large bars, and two seating areas. The larger of the two bars is definitely sports centric with lots of TVs. The bathrooms are very clean. Female employees wear short plaid skirts. The walls are green, accented by humorous artwork. The energy/noise level is commensurate with this type of establishment. You can carry on a conversation at a table or with the guests next to you, but if you want to chat with your Buddy three bar stools away, you better know sign language. There is live music on Saturdays featuring local/regional groups. The clientele primarily seems to range in a age from 30-60 and has a male skew. Food: Good assortment of apps, burgers and sandwiches with a smattering of entrees. Corned beef is prominently featured. It is tender, with just the right amount of juiciness, but it could benefit from a more flavorful brining. The burgers are tasty and the fish and chips are satisfying, but don't expect the fish to replace your favorite Friday fish fry. Try accompanying your sandwich with the house made chips instead of fries. They are thick and crispy (I did receive an order that was not done to perfection, but they were quickly replaced). I ask for a side of spicy ranch or thousand island to dip the chips in. Beverages: Good standard bar selection with a nice selection of beer on tap. There are a few Irish additions to normal offerings, but nothing over the top. The Magners Irish Cider is a refreshing alternative to beer. Price: Very competitive, definitely not downtown pricing. Long drink happy hour with 1/2 price appetizers weekdays. Service: Good, but Finns is drawing a good sized consistent crowd. The service is friendly, but you may have a short wait for a seat and your order may take longer to arrive than George Webb's. Location: Good if you are traveling near the intersection of I43 and 894. Excellent if you are near Hales Corners, as this is one of very few options for a bawdy good time. If it is a particularly busy night, good parking gets a little sparse. Comparable to: Mo's Irish Pub, Mulligan's Bottom line: The clan and I will definitely be back. Sláinte!

After my failed attempt at a good lunch next door to this place I decided to give Finn's a try...unfortunately I was unable to dine with them...The place is posted "no weapons". I do not patronize business that prevent me from legally protecting myself and significant others as do most of my friends.

I was in the other afternoon for Happy Hour. I also visited this place once previously about a year ago. My opinion is things have gone very downhill. The service is excellent. The food is awful. Our table ordered a variety of appetizers and the quality of the ground beef in the nachos was something I wouldn't feed my dogs. The Reuben Rolls had corned beef that looked more like a corned beef paste. They have a crazy Happy Hour that runs until 6pm but the 1/2 price appetizers are only on special until 5pm. Why wouldn't you run the appetizer special at the same time as your Happy Hour Drink special? Thumbs down from me other than the service staff was very attentive and friendly.

FIrst of all I have to tell you we didn't go here to eat. My friends & I went here to check out a band on a Saturday night & thought we would get there early (about 930). We thought we had gotten there early enough but to find out that the parking lot was packed including the handicapped spots since I'm in a chair. So, we had to drive around for about 10 minutes before we found a spot to park that was remotely close to the building. When we went in we found that this place was indeed really packed & what we did & could see of it it looked good inside. You see this place just opened about 2 months ago so they are still in the New Phase of their establishment. There were people eating, drinking, playing games & also fans of the band congregating all in one big room. Unfortunately, this room isn't big enough for everything & when they did the remodeling they should have thought of these things. In fact I felt like this place was trying to be a Minnie Mo's. After looking around for a bit we did end up finding where the band was about to play which is just feet from the bar in a corner & is also crowded not to mention if you're in a chair it is almost impossible to get around.(In fact one waitress there thought I was looking for the bathroom until I told her I was looking for where the band was playing) Needless to say we stayed there til about midnight & went somewhere else except by that time both the bar & the parking lot were both half empty. I think we'll wait a while so the newness wears off before returning again.

I have been going to Finns for a while now, have never been dissapionted by their food. I felt it was necessary to post about there fish fry; not only was it beyond the best fish fry I have had in Milwaukee, but it is the most substantial I have experienced in Milwaukee. Only disappointment was the mojito my wife ordered (I got a beer) it took 20 min to make and was more or less syrup. Other than the occasional lapse in drink service, this place will elevate your eating experience (irish or not) if you are within the Hales Corners / Franklin area.

It's only redeeming quality was some of the drink choices. It wasn't Irish in anyway so don't go based on that. The bar tender pretty much ignored my friend and I at the bar. We probably could have walked away without paying and no one would have noticed

This is a sports bar and not an Irish pub. Two bars with tables on the walls and windows with a patio. It's big and dark with lots of flat screens and wood. I was seated right away and greeted fast by my server. She had a beer on my table three minutes after being seated. The food was on the table after two sips of my beer and maybe because I had my burger extra rare. I had the bacon cheese burger with waffle Fry's. The burger was cooked my way and thank you because rare gets messed up so much. See my picture. The burger was 1/2 pound big cooked rare with bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese and mayo and pickles on the side. I liked it because it was tasty and cooked right. The waffle Fry's were cold and no way as fresh as the burger which is sad because it lowered the yelp rating. How they could do so well with the burger and pass off cold Fry's kind of ruined the meal. $12.00 burger and you get cold Fry's is something else. The slaw was bland and did nothing for me so one bite was enough. They did some things right and some things wrong. This will not be my burger place because of price vs experience because there is better price vs experience places around. Yah the cold Fry's did them in but the burger was good. I wouldn't say don't go there because this is only my experience and you should judge them for your self.

Many other reviewers have covered what I found to be problematic here. 1. This is not really an Irish Pub. 2. There is nothing special about the food. 3. Service leaves a lot to be desired. Hiring adults would be a good start. Rather than go into the details, I will echo Paul M's Review of 12/2013. What he said.
